How to practice with the team:
- Sign the MIT waiver: https://clubsports.
mit.edu/join-a-club/. Click on “triathlon” and use your email to login and submit the waiver (if you are MIT affiliated, please use your MIT email). - Subscribe to our email list to receive up to date weekly practices and announcements. Information about our email list can be found here. Our practices are also usually on our website, but the email list is usually more accurate as we can cancel/add additional practices.
How to join the team:
1. Confirm you have completed steps 1 and 2 above (sign the waiver and subscribe to the email list!)
2. Join the Slack! (MIT Tri Slack)
3. Pay dues:
Non-racing members:
We ask that if you are regularly attending workouts that you please pay this level of dues to help support the club’s costs and growth, even if you will not be racing often with the club. This level of membership gives access to renting club equipment and all sponsorship deals the club has (e.g. Xterra wetsuits).

We are unable to provide reimbursements to non-MIT affiliates.
*In order to access the pool, you will need a MIT Gym Membership, which is not included in the membership fees. You can find more information here: http://www.mitrecsports.com/join/memberships/
Access to the outdoor track and spin studio do not require a gym membership.
How to Submit Dues
Pay online by card (recommended): Dues Payment.
If you are unable to pay by card, you can pay with cash/check, follow the instructions below. Write a check of the appropriate amount to “MIT Triathlon Club.” You may give this check or cash to any officer at a practice or follow the directions below to send the check via interdepartmental mail to the treasurer:
- Put your check in an envelope
2. On the outside of the envelope, write “MIT Triathlon, W20-500”
3. No stamp is needed! Drop this off in any interdepartmental mailbox or if you walk by an office in MIT, you can usually ask them to include this in their outgoing mail.
